Job summary

A leading hardware company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to oversee warehouse operations and ensure effective delivery management. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management, along with certifications in relevant licenses. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role requires interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients. The position offers a structured work week with alternate Saturdays off, providing a balanced work environment.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in store/warehouse handling, storage and space utilization.
  • Possession of valid D license and GDL license is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in operating forklift & Reach Truck.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate entire logistics operations including deliveries to customer sites.
  • Assist the in-house logistics team to achieve smooth logistics operation.
  • Implement and optimize warehouse management system.
  • Manage warehouse in compliance with company policies.
  • Plan work routes and assign tasks appropriately.

Job description

Seng Choon Hardware (M) Sdn Bhd – Petaling

To coordinate entire logistics operations including deliveries to customer sites, warehousing, good receiving process.

Assist the in-house logistics team to achieve smooth logistics operation and timely scheduling.

To response & ensure effective coordination between sales & customers on deliveries.

Implementing, maintaining and optimizing the warehouse management system and total logistics solution for strategic warehouse and logistics management.

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.

Planning work routes, assigning tasks appropriately and measuring results (familiar Klang valley is an added advantage.).

Ensuring the physical counts of products and reconciliation with data to maintain adequate inventory levels are conducted.

Inspects all warehouse equipment, requests repair and order replacements when required.

Liaise and coordinate with forwarders/transporters on the incoming and outgoing shipment.

Monitor, manage and maintain physical store physical condition by planning and implementation new layout plan for space effectiveness

Study, plan to ensure space are utilized effectively for storage and plan for future expansion plans

Complete and ensure store operation requirement by scheduling and assigning manpower follow-up for work results.

Coaching, counselling, discipline, planning for store overall aspects.

5 Days week with alternate Saturday.

Any other duty assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirement

Over 5 years of experience in store/warehouse handling, storage and space utilization.

Possession of valid D license and GDL license is an added advantage.

Knowledge in operate forklift & Reach Truck.

Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
