Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations for receiving, put-away, storage, picking, and outbound.
• Ensure compliance with Customs Act and Free Zone regulations.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock count.
• Lead supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators, and drivers.
• Enforce warehouse safety standard operating procedures.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders on service issues.

Job description

• Oversee daily warehouse operations for receiving, put-away, storage, picking, and outbound.
• Manage K1, K8, import/export, bonded cargo, transhipment/transloading activities.
• Ensure accuracy of DO, packing list, manifest, CN/DN, warehouse receipt, gate pass.

2. FREE ZONE & PORT COMPLIANCE

• Ensure compliance with Customs Act, Free Zone regulations, PKFZ authority rules, Northport terminal rules.
• Manage ZB1/ZB2 declarations, customs inspections, and bonded cargo compliance.

3. INVENTORY CONTROL

• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock count.

4. STAFF MANAGEMENT

• Lead supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators, and drivers.
• Plan manpower, schedule shifts, and assign tasks.
• Conduct training, performance monitoring, and disciplinary actions.

5. SAFETY & SECURITY

• Enforce warehouse safety SOPs, PPE usage, forklift safety.

6. REPORTING & KPI MONITORING

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports: stock, inbound/outbound, manpower, damages.
• Monitor KPIs: turnaround time, accuracy rate, safety incidents, productivity.
• Manage cost control and budgeting for warehouse operations.

7. CUSTOMER & STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION

• Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, hauliers, shipping lines, customs officers.
• Handle service issues, delays, discrepancies, and improvement plans.
