Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to prevent losses and discrepancies.
• Implement warehouse processes and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with logistics, transportation, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Handle warehouse-related reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics for management review.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for smooth operations, including handling claims or discrepancies.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within a logistics provider environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics operations.
• Proven experience managing a team and improving warehouse efficiency.
