A logistics company in Malaysia, Selangor, is seeking an experienced logistics manager. In this role, you will manage overall logistics and warehousing functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on performance and efficiency, aiming to enhance service delivery.
Manage the overall functions of logistics and warehousing which includes personnel, inventory management, physical distribution, maintenance and record keeping.
Review and implement the standard operation procedures & processes in the department and propose any new systems for efficient work of the department's daily operations.
Plan and organize monthly and yearly stock take. Liaise with external auditors for the stock take planning.
Ensure time efficient and effectiveness in the delivery process in order to meet customers' satisfaction & provide correction actions for improvement of services.
Ensure that all working policies and procedures, instructions, rules and regulations directed by the Management are being followed by the staff.
Ensure that all trucks are properly maintained and serviced.
Prepare cost analysis and department budget.
Implement safety and security measures being executed in the daily operation of the warehouse.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
To perform any other duties as assigned by the Top Management.
