Job Description – Warehouse Executive / Team Lead (New Setup)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Executive / Team Lead with strong new-setup experience to lead the establishment and day-to-day operations of the warehouse in our newly built manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall warehouse material management and ensure high inventory accuracy (physical vs. SAP system).
  • Lead the setup, optimization, and implementation of warehouse SOPs; conduct routine audits to ensure compliance.
  • Plan daily work schedules and supervise warehouse keepers to ensure timely and accurate task execution.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks; investigate and report discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure strict compliance with warehouse 6S practices (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).
  • Support warehouse layout planning, storage zoning, and material flow design during the project setup phase.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Logistics, and other related departments to resolve warehouse issues.
  • Willing to work overtime or on weekends during project setup or peak operational periods.
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably with hands‑on involvement in a new warehouse or factory setup.
  • Strong experience in warehouse layout setup, inventory control, and SOP development.
  • Candidates with SAP system experience or LMW knowledge will be given priority.
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt well in a fast‑paced or startup environment.
  • Willing to work overtime or weekends as required during project rollout or peak workload periods.
