Job summary

A manufacturing company in Alor Gajah is seeking a candidate for material planning and logistics management. Qualifications

Job description

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business and administration (broad programmes) or in any relevant professional field.

EXPERIENCES

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in manufacturing environment handling planning roles/ and in warehouse or logistics management or
• Clean Room working experience will be an added advantage

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess positive attitude, self-motivated and self-discipline
• Able to work independently under pressure and able to communicate well with production floor
• Proficiently in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Computer skills especially in excel reporting

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Material Planning based on sales order forecast received
• Monitor material delivery progress io ensure timely delivery and inspect items for any damage or defects
• Pre-alert and prompt action if there is any delayed / shortage of material
• Prepare material pick list accordingly to BOM and order
• Regularly monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Responsible for monitoring material returns and replenishments during the production process
