Job summary

A leading hotel in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic Waiter/Waitress to join their Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Candidates with at least 1 year of experience or strong enthusiasm for hospitality are encouraged to apply. English and Malay proficiency is required, and knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.

Job Summary: The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages while ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and escort guests to their tables in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the system.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and correct delivery of orders.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, following service standards.
  • Monitor assigned tables and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of the dining area before, during, and after service.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, or fresh graduates with strong interest in hospitality are encouraged to apply.
  • Pleasant appearance with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and Malay; knowledge of Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese is an added advantage.
