About the Role:

We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Executive to support the execution of impactful visual standards across our travel retail portfolio at KLIA. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about bringing brand stories to life in-store, ensuring consistency, quality, and strong commercial appeal in a fast-paced airport retail environment.

You will work closely with VM leaders, store operations, and brand teams to deliver visually compelling spaces that enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Execute visual merchandising guidelines across stores, ensuring alignment with brand standards
  • Support seasonal, festive, and promotional VM rollouts across multiple brands
  • Assist in store setup, window displays, POP installations, and visual refreshes
  • Coordinate with store teams to ensure timely and accurate VM execution
  • Maintain VM checklists, photo submissions, and execution reports
  • Support new store openings, refits, and brand activations as required
  • Monitor store visuals and flag gaps, damages, or inconsistencies for follow-up
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth on-ground execution
Key Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising, Visual Communication, Design, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail creative roles
  • Strong eye for visual detail, layout, and brand presentation
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic retail environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with basic digital tools, reporting, and photo documentation
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
