The Videographer & Content Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, production, and editing of video and multimedia content across digital platforms. This role is hands‑on and execution‑focused, producing engaging visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and supports marketing, branding, and communication objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Execution
- Assist in producing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, product launches, and internal communications.
- Execute basic visual storytelling concepts based on briefs and creative direction.
- Capture video footage and simple motion content as required.
- Video Production Support
- Support end‑to‑end video production, including filming, basic scripting, editing, sound editing, colour correction, and final output.
- Assist in creating simple motion graphics, animations, or visual effects when required.
- Ensure content meets brand standards and quality expectations.
- Edit video content using standard editing tools.
- Apply basic transitions, subtitles, sound balancing, and visual enhancements.
- Organise footage, assets, and project files properly.
- Work closely with marketing, social media, design, and content teams to understand content requirements.
- Support coordination with external vendors, freelancers, or production partners when necessary.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly.
- Equipment & Technical Handling
- Operate video cameras, lighting, microphones, and basic production equipment.
- Assist in maintaining and caring for production equipment.
- Stay updated on basic trends in video content and social media formats.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia, Film, Mass Communication or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in videography, video editing, or content creation (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may be considered).
Technical Skills
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar).
- Basic understanding of filming techniques, lighting, and audio recording.
- Familiarity with social media video formats (short‑form, reels, TikTok, etc.) is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Creative, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
- Able to follow instructions and work from briefs.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced content environment.
