Job Description

As a Video Content Specialist, you will be the creative engine behind our visual storytelling. You will handle everything from high-end corporate productions to fast-paced social media content. We are looking for someone who is not just an editor, but a "maker" who understands how to use a variety of tools to get the best shot.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Production: Conceptualize, script, and produce high-quality video content for social media (TikTok/Reels), websites, and corporate presentations.
• Versatile Filming: Operate a wide range of equipment, including professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, mobile gimbals, and high-end webcam/streaming setups.
• Post-Production: Edit footage with a focus on storytelling, ensuring professional-grade color correction, sound design, and smooth playback.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and client goals.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of the curve with the latest video production trends, AI tools, and social media algorithms to keep our content fresh and engaging.
• Asset Management: Maintain and organize our video asset libraries for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Internal Support: Provide guidance and basic training to team members on framing, lighting, and mobile content capture.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in video production and editing with a strong portfolio (please include a link to your showreel).
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing suites.
• Hardware Mastery: Highly proficient in using Professional Cameras, Smartphones for content creation, Webcams, and Audio equipment.
• Creative Skills: Excellent storytelling, scriptwriting, and visual conceptualization abilities.
• Lighting & Sound: Strong understanding of studio lighting, natural light optimization, and external audio recording.
• Platform Savvy: Familiarity with video distribution platforms (YouTube/Vimeo) and social media best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
• Education: A Diploma or Degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Film Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Location: Ability to work full-time at our office in Pulai Hartamas, Ipoh.
