If so, we invite you to consider an exciting opportunity with ASNB as Vice President, Variable Price Strategy. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of assets under management (AUM) and expanding our investor base by strengthening the value proposition of our Variable Price Funds, enhancing the end-to-end customer experience, and fostering impactful cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Banca, Marketing, Compliance, Technology, among others.

As Vice President, you will support the Head of Product in developing and executing strategies that ensure our Variable Price Funds remain competitive, compliant, and client focused. You'll be instrumental in shaping product direction, ensuring product relevance in a highly competitive, dynamic, and evolving market and enhancing investor experience.

Your Role & Impact

Lead diagnostics on the performance of fund flows, the demographic of customers across different variable price funds, the investment cycle and the industry trends as inputs to formulate product strategy, encompassing enhancement of existing product features and development of new offerings that are aligned with investor needs, among others.

Sales Enablement & Improvement in Customer Experience

Partner with Sales, Banca, Sales Management, Segment and Marketing teams to maximise sales potential through campaigns and other sales and marketing initiatives, improve frontliner product knowledge, and strengthen customer journey.

Regulatory Compliance & Oversight

Work closely with Compliance Team to ensure full regulatory compliance, liaise with regulatory bodies, and stay ahead of regulatory changes impacting product governance.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a collaborative, performance‑driven culture focused on excellence, integrity, and innovation.

What You Bring to the Table
Required:
  • At least 8 years of experience in a related industry (e.g. product‑related role in investment management, unit trust or banking industry).
  • Strong grasp of unit trust industry and its operations, relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. Unit Trust Guidelines, Licensing Handbook), investment principles, and a solid knowledge of the capital market and the broader financial market.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and threats and blend creativity with logic in developing strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Passion for building innovative solutions in a dynamic, regulated environment.
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Preferred:
  • Experience specifically in a product‑related role within the unit trust or investment management industry.
  • CFA certification or similar professional qualification.
