Veterinary Technical Advocate (Vet Affairs)
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent veterinary qualification is essential. Must be a registered veterinary surgeon with the Malaysian Veterinary Council (MVC) and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- A minimum of 3‑7 years of professional experience in a related role, such as a practicing veterinarian, a technical services role in the animal health industry, or a regulatory affairs position. Experience in the livestock sector is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is mandatory, both written and spoken. The ability to communicate in other languages is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, and animal nutrition.
- Expertise in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of common animal diseases in Malaysia.
- Familiarity with the Malaysian regulatory landscape for veterinary products.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, CRMs, webinar platforms, and training tools such as Kahoot and Learning Management Systems.

Job Scope
- Technical and Scientific Support: Provide in‑depth technical advice and product training to the commercial team, distributors, and customers on the company's product portfolio. This includes addressing product‑related inquiries and resolving technical issues.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key opinion leaders, veterinarians, pet channel and farm managers. Act as a trusted advisor to help customers enhance animal health and productivity by supporting the sales team.
- Product Development and Portfolio Management: Advise Management and collaborate with the Marketing team to manage and provide local market insights for the development of new products or housekeeping of products for the market.
- Content Creation and Presentations: Liaise with brand partners, prepare and deliver technical presentations, scientific papers, and educational materials for seminars, conferences, and training sessions. Support the marketing team on preparing educational content for all digital platforms.
- Market Intelligence and Research: Stay up‑to‑date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine, animal diseases, and industry trends in Malaysia. Use this information to identify market needs, new business opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product‑related activities, including marketing claims, product registrations, and technical documentation, adhere to the regulations set by Malaysian authorities such as the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) and the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA).
- Manage working relationships with local veterinary universities and associations, providing lectures or seminars to drive business.
- Participate in the Animal Welfare foundation's activities by developing content, rolling public webinars, coordinating public events, and working with pet shelters, animal sanctuaries, and zoos to support animal welfare initiatives.
