An international engineering company in Johor Bahru is looking for a General Engineer to join their EPC project team. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a reminder, the VIE is strictly reserved for candidates aged 18 to 28 of French or European nationality, in accordance with the regulations in force.

Start date: 1st of December/January 25/26. Duration: 20 months.

About the tasks

As part of an EPC project of a new FLNG (Floating Liquid Natural Gas) currently being executed, you will be integrated in Johor Bahru (Malaysia), in the construction team in charge of monitoring and managing the manufacture of the anchor turret (7500 t in 3 modules). More specifically, you will be required to:

• Develop the Construction Monitoring Dashboard in collaboration with the Planning Engineer.
• Extract from the 3D model the different stages of construction to visualize the progress of the project. Possibly propose to develop other visualization tools.
• Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly progress reports.
• Prepare the communication of the site (videos, photos, montages) and coordinate with our Communication manager for the publication on the internal network T.EN.
• Assist the site team in the development/review of assembly and mechanical testing procedures.
• To monitor the manufacture of the Turret Instrument Room at another site in Singapore.

About you

• Education: General Engineer
• School: ENSAM, ECN, ENSIETA, ECM or equivalent

• You are good interpersonal and are able to handle problems thoughtfully and effectively.
• You are interested in both the technical side of complex structures and also in the various challenges related to the realization of a large-scale project in a multicultural environment under quality and schedule constraints.
