Job summary

A leading commercial vehicle company in Selangor is seeking a candidate for sales of used trucks. The role involves promoting trucks through various channels, handling inquiries, and ensuring comprehensive customer service throughout the sales process. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have 1–2 years of experience in sales or customer service. A Truck Driving License and knowledge of used commercial vehicles are essential. This position is based in Port Klang, Selangor with a start date advantage if joining in January 2026.

Qualifications

  • Truck Driving License is required.
  • Knowledge and experience with used commercial vehicles.

Job description

Assist in promoting and selling used trucks through showroom, online platforms, and dealer networks.

Support in handling customer inquiries, quotations, and vehicle inspections.

Coordinate test drives, vehicle preparation, and delivery arrangements.

Prepare sales proposals, price comparisons, and trade-in evaluations.

Follow up on customer leads and maintain active communication until deal closure.

Customer Relationship Management

Provide professional, courteous service to customers throughout the sales process.

Maintain updated customer records and feedback to enhance future sales.

Build and sustain long-term relationships with fleet customers and resellers.

Documentation & Process Compliance

Ensure all sales transactions are properly documented in line with company policy.

Coordinate with Finance and Admin for invoice issuance, ownership transfer, and vehicle release.

Support compliance with company pricing guidelines and approval processes.

Market & Product Knowledge

Keep abreast of market trends, competitor pricing, and demand for used trucks.

Assist in updating vehicle inventory listings, condition reports, and marketing materials.

Provide feedback on customer preferences and market movements to management.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Used Truck Sales Manager, Vehicle Preparation, and After-Sales teams.

Support marketing campaigns, trade-in events, and truck roadshows as required.

General

Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures.

Job Specification:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive, or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of sales or customer service experience (preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry).

Truck Driving License.

Used Commercial Vehicle knowledge & experience.

Other requirements:

Candidate who is able to join in January 2026 will be an added advantage.

Willing to be based in Port Klang, Selangor.
