A consulting firm in Selangor is urgently seeking an Assistant Manager for Corporate Tax. The role involves preparing and reviewing tax provisions, managing submissions, and providing advisory support to stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar fields, possess advanced Excel skills, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate tax. Leadership experience is preferred, along with good communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly/quarterly current and deferred tax provision.
Review and manage all tax submissions (income tax, service tax, WHT, CP58).
Assist in TP documentation, country-by-country reporting and global minimum tax (QDMTT).
Identify and implement improvement opportunities to minimize tax expenses and maximize tax savings.
Deal with tax authorities on tax issues, provide internal tax advisory and support to stakeholders.
Perform ad-hoc assignments/projects as assigned by superior/HOD.
