Overview
The UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications. This role involves designing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups, conducting usability testing, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately. The Designer will contribute to enhancing user experiences while learning and growing within a creative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows for web and mobile applications.
- Design responsive and intuitive interfaces following modern UI/UX principles.
- Define design components, style systems, and guidelines.
- User Research & Testing
- Conduct user research and analyze user requirements.
- Perform usability testing and refine designs based on feedback.
- Identify usability issues and propose improvements to enhance user experience.
- Collaboration & Implementation
- Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation.
- Maintain consistent design standards across projects.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Documentation & Support
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, including style guides and prototypes.
- Assist in supporting ongoing projects and design iterations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in UI/UX Design, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in web and/or mobile application development.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous UI/UX projects is required
Required Skills
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy, and UX principles.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes and design flows.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform usability testing and interpret results.
