About the Role

Global Intellect Venture is seeking an experienced Turner Manager to lead targeted projects and strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, resolve critical issues, and optimize export supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Take decisive action, sometimes as an interim CEO or Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), making tough decisions on personnel, assets, and strategy.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and close major projects, including supply chain overhauls, or process improvements, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met.
  • Process & Performance Improvement: Analyze operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, profitability, and compliance.
  • Crisis & Turnaround Management: Provide interim leadership in operational or financial distress situations, including cost reduction, debt restructuring, strategic repositioning, and diversifying efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (operations, maintenance, finance, procurement) and external partners (customers, vendors, forwarding agent, regulators) for smooth project execution.
  • Resource & Risk Management: Allocate manpower, materials, and budgets efficiently while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Implementation: Oversee the execution of the plan, often involving cost reduction, debt restructuring, asset sales, and operational improvements.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), provide management updates, and conduct post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Development: Develop actionable plans for immediate operational stabilization and long-term sustainability. Create a clear, actionable plan focusing on immediate cash flow (liquidity) and long-term sustainability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with boards, lenders, investors, and employees to build consensus and secure support.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in project management, operations, logistics, or supply chain management and sales.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and contractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management software (SAP) is preferred.
  • Experience in export operations, industrial projects, or financial turnaround is a plus.
  • Independent, proactive, and capable of handling high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to Travel: Travel locally and internationally as required to oversee projects, coordinate with teams, and manage turnaround initiatives.
