A global company with a long history in logistics sector is seeking an experienced professional to support its centralized business services unit. The group operates worldwide, offering a wide range of solutions that support international trade and promote innovation and sustainability across its service portfolio.

About the Shared Services Division

The role sits within the organization's global shared services center, which specializes in delivering finance, HR, and technology support to business units across multiple regions.

Role Summary

The Senior Treasury Operations Lead will oversee day-to-day treasury activities, support liquidity and cash management functions, guide a team of analysts, and contribute to financial governance and strategic planning within the shared services environment.

Work Location

This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, in a centrally accessible area with extensive public transportation connections.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Head of Treasury Operations.

Responsibilities

Direct the daily treasury workflow, including bank account oversight, access administration, and compliance requirements related to banking partners and internal controls.

Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a team of treasury analysts.

Coordinate with banking partners on account maintenance, fee matters, regulatory checks, due-diligence requests, and other operational issues.

Design, implement, and update treasury policies, ensuring they align with relevant standards and control frameworks.

Strengthen fraud-mitigation practices by promoting awareness, monitoring risk indicators, and maintaining preventive controls.

Manage the processing and lifecycle tracking of financial guarantees, including submissions to trade finance institutions and proper system updates.

Deliver treasury-related data, insights, and reports for management and internal stakeholders.

Maintain strong working relationships with financial institutions and service providers.

Identify opportunities for improving treasury workflows and contribute to system or process enhancements.

Act as the operational backup for the Head of Treasury Operations when required.

Support ad-hoc assignments and project-based treasury initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; professional certifications (CPA, CA, ACT, etc.) are beneficial.

At least 8 years of experience in treasury, finance, or related audit/accounting functions.

Strong command of financial controls, treasury processes, and industry best practices.

Highly organized, analytical, and capable of working independently with strong attention to detail.

Proficient in advanced Excel functions and familiar with treasury management platforms (e.g., Kyriba).

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
