Job summary

A leading airline in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager, Training. The role is responsible for developing and managing training programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness for all employees and subcontractors. Key tasks include designing training based on regulatory standards, assessing training effectiveness, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet training needs. Ideal candidates should have a degree or diploma in a related field, relevant experience in aviation or learning & development, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree / Professional Certificate with 3 years working experience in aviation or learning & development.
  • Diploma with 6 years working experience in aviation or learning & development.
  • High school certificate with 8 years working experience in aviation or learning & development.
  • HRDC Train‑the‑Trainer (TTT) or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and improve the training program for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement training programs in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess training effectiveness and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align training needs.
  • Promote safety culture by integrating safety practices into training activities.
