A recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to drive training initiatives in manufacturing and operational contexts. You will design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs while conducting training needs analysis alongside managing internal trainers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and over 7 years of experience in training delivery, specifically within manufacturing or technical environments. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience are essential.
Develop and implement Learning & Development initiatives with strong focus on manufacturing, technical and operational training. Conduct training needs analysis across production, engineering, quality, EHS and supporting functions. Design, coordinate and personally deliver training programs including onboarding, technical skills, SOP, quality systems and leadership development. Drive competency-based training frameworks to support workforce capability and operational excellence. Manage and coordinate internal trainers, subject matter experts and external training providers. Ensure training programs comply with internal standards, audit requirements and regulatory needs where applicable. Track training effectiveness through evaluation metrics, skills assessments and continuous improvement actions. Maintain training documentation, records and reporting to support audits and management review. Support talent development initiatives such as succession planning, leadership development and high-potential programs.
