A manufacturing company in Rawang, Selangor is seeking a responsible driver to operate trailers and transport goods. Candidates must have a valid Class E driving license and 2-3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles. Minimum Qualification: SPM or equivalent education level.
Valid Driving Licence: Possess a valid Class E / E Full driving license.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience driving trailers or heavy vehicles (lorry/truck).
Experience in long-haul or cross-state deliveries is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and highway routes (especially Peninsular Malaysia).
Basic mechanical knowledge of trailer maintenance.
Able to handle GPS or digital delivery tracking systems.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Physically fit and able to work long hours or shifts if required.
Honest, disciplined, and reliable.
Willing to travel outstation and work on weekends or public holidays when necessary.
Must comply with company safety and operational procedures at all times.
Operate and drive trailers (including flatbed, box, or container trailers) to transport goods, materials, or equipment between designated locations safely and efficiently.
Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness — including tires, brakes, lights, oil, and water levels.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods, following safety standards and securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and documentation (delivery notes, fuel receipts, mileage reports, etc.).
Comply with all traffic regulations and company transport policies.
Report any vehicle faults, incidents, or accidents immediately to the Transport Supervisor or HR Department.
Perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking fluid levels, tire pressure, cleaning) and coordinate for scheduled servicing.
Follow delivery schedules and routes as instructed, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.
Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Assist in other transport or logistics duties when required by management.
