To plan, develop, and execute effective trade marketing strategies and promotional activities that drive brand visibility, product availability, and sales performance across Modern Trade, General Trade and Food Service channels. What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement trade marketing plans and promotional calendars for key channels (Modern Trade, General Trade, Food Service), including planning and executing roadshows, in-store events, and sampling activities aligned with the campaign calendar
- Coordinate with stakeholder to ensure timely and quality execution of trade activities
- Track and monitor trade promotions to ensure execution aligns with approved plans.
- Evaluate ROI and effectiveness of trade marketing activities through post-promotion analysis.
- Coordinate and ensures campaigns are launched smoothly and on schedule.
- Coordinate sampling activities, trade shows, retailer events, B2B activations, this involves logistics, setup, and execution of events designed to generate product trial and brand awareness.
- Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, shopper insights, and competitive activities.
- Work closely with sales teams to develop customized trade programs for retailers and key customers.
- Support product listing, activation, and visibility initiatives for new product launches.
- Collaborate with retailers to optimize shelf space, planograms, and in-store branding.
- Liaise with supply chain to ensure product availability for campaigns and promotions
Promotional Materials and POS Management
- Work with sales teams to plan and run in-store promotions, merchandising, and POS materials.
- Plan and manage in-store visibility materials, point-of-sale (POSM) execution, and trade displays.
- Distribute and track promotional materials (e.g., POS materials, shelf talkers, banners) to ensure the materials are deployed effectively and their impact can be measured.
- Develop and distribute marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, emailers, social content) aligned with brand guidelines
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track the effectiveness of in-store promotions, measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.
- Collect and analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to support decision-making
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external business reviews
Vendor and Agency Liaison
- Liaise with creative teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing/trade materials
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, or key account management within the FMCG industry.
- Experience handling both Modern Trade and General Trade channels preferred.
