Job summary

A leading telecommunications firm in Malaysia is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to support the planning, implementation, and operation of telecommunications networks. Key responsibilities include designing network infrastructure, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related fields, strong analytical skills, and 2–5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in telecommunications networks is preferred.

• Familiarity with RF planning, fiber optics, or microwave systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement telecommunications network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot service issues.
• Ensure compliance with MCMC regulations and company SOPs.

Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge of 4G LTE / 5G network

Basic IP networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, ICT

Diploma holders with relevant experience
