Job description

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design of 5G communication poles, monopoles, high mast poles, communication towers, and related steel structures.

Perform steel structure analysis using MS Tower / OpenTower (v10.0), STAAD.Pro, and other engineering software.

Prepare design schemes, structural drawings, costing, and technical proposals.

Conduct detailed engineering calculations including wind load, structural force, foundation reaction, and material selection.

Oversee drawing deepening, BOQ preparation, and ensure compliance with telco & steel structure standards.

Provide technical solutions for design or construction issues.

Coordinate with production, project team & customers to ensure smooth design-to-production workflow.

Manage a small team of design engineers (if required) to deliver timely and accurate outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in telco pole/monopole/tower design.
• MS Tower / OpenTower (v10.0).
• STAAD.Pro.
• AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
• Experience in wind load analysis, steel structure design, and telco tower compliance standards.
• Able to work independently with strong problem-solving and technical judgment.
• Good communication skills & high sense of responsibility.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin (to liaise with suppliers & customers from China).
