Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Tekla Drafter/ Design Engineer in Kulai, Malaysia. The role involves 2D detailing and 3D modelling of precast structures using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures. Candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering, along with at least one year of relevant experience. This position offers a salary of up to RM8000. The ideal candidate should be willing to work extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Position: Tekla Drafter/ Design Engineer

Salary Up To RM8000

Job Descriptions:

• Perform 2D detailing/ drafting of precast structures using AutoCAD.
• Perform 3D modelling/ detailing of precast structure using Tekla.
• Any other job function assigned and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary from time to time.
• Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software
• Generate fabrication drawings and material lists from the models
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
• Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs
• Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures
• Review and analyze project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance
• Participate in design and construction meetings as needed
• Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering and/ or related field with min 1 year experience in Precast Detailing.
• Knowledge & work experience in using AutoCAD & Tekla Structure software
• Willing to work extra hours when job required including rest day, public holiday
