Job description

Responsibilities

1. PV System Inspection
   • Conduct routine inspection of modules, structures, and cabling.
   • Perform thermal imaging, string voltage checks, and insulation resistance tests.
   • Identify issues such as hot spots, connector failures, cable damage, shading, or grounding problems.
2. Corrective & Preventive Maintenance
   • Replace faulty modules, fuses, AC/DC breakers, connectors, and SPD.
   • Assist in maintenance of inverter, combiner box, transformer, and switchgear.
   • Support control room with alarm validation.
3. Electrical & Site Work
   • Maintain site housekeeping and safety.
   • Respond to emergency faults.
4. Documentation & Reporting
   • Submit daily maintenance reports.
   • Update checklists, photos, and test results.
   • Follow SOP, HSE, and PTW requirements.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Physically fit for outdoor work.
• Experience in solar PV systems (preferred).

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Technology or related field.
