Job Description

1.Assisting Executive and supervisor in maintenance work and technical function of Mechanical, Electrical and Instruments including boiler

2.To perform the daily checking for all equipment and instruments in plants

3. Assist Executive and supervisor maintenance to monitor, coordinate and liaise closely with Production section on maintenance requirement, preventive maintenance and ensure that maintenance works are carried out in safe manner and equipment are safe to operate

4.To perform the preventive maintenance work and ensure that equipment are safe to operate as per planned by Maintenance Executive

5.Assist in ensuring that the code of conduct and standard procedure of contractors and their workmen as lay down by company is enforced and strictly adhered i.e. PPE implementations

6. To perform the maintenance work and record in record books (log book) including the breakdown details and any process discrepancies

7. To assist in stock take activities Responsible for alerting Executive, Maintenance of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur

8. Assist in ensuring works governing the issue of work order is strictly adhered to

9. Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of workplace, workshop, technical store and maintenance office

10. To abide to any law/obligations / rules and regulations documented by the management and company

11. To ensure the continuing protection of the Company’s assets, both tangible (such as products, processes and services) and non-tangibles (such as trademarks, intellectual property, etc)

12. To perform any other duties as directed by the Superior, from time to time
