Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, lighting, and wiring systems for commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and quickly resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Work with a team to coordinate and complete projects on time and according to safety standards.
• Deal with all kinds of commercial kitchen equipment including but not limited to milk tea beverage dispenser, ice maker, freezer, refrigerator, working table, sealing machine, mixer, blender, steamer, water boiler, tea boiler, and etc.
• Perform installation, maintenance, regular cleaning and checking, after‑sales service, replacement and upgrading as necessary.
• Travel to customer sites and carry out installation, servicing work and training as scheduled.
• Provide excellent technical support and documentation for clients and internal teams.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic or related fields; certification (PW1/PW2/PW3) is a plus.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on experience in electrical work, ideally in commercial or industrial settings.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and work hard to meet high standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, willing to learn and work hard.
• Strong practical experience of electrical systems, equipment and installation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Must be willing to work night shift, overtime, weekend and public holidays.
• Possess own transport (car).
• Willing to travel to outstation or overseas for short work.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires to deal with Mandarin speakers.
