We are seeking a skilled Technician (AirCon) to join our team at Benkert (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor. As a full‑time Technician, you will be responsible for providing essential electrical maintenance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

What you’ll be doing
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and inspections
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the overall reliability and efficiency of electrical systems
  • Service and maintenance of air conditioning systems include:
    • Checks on filters
    • Inspection of cooling coils
    • Inspection of condense pumps
    • Leak checking
    • Checking of pipework
    • Inspection of lagging
    • Electrical checks
    • Cleaning of grilles and flanges
    • Checking crankcase heater amps
    • Checking oil levels
  • To attend & solve technical problems of air conditioning units at site
  • Perform machine trouble‑shooting and rectification
  • To ensure the smooth running of the building air conditioning system
  • To provide support and work with a team of in‑house technicians on air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, managing, monitoring and following up with contractors on air‑conditioning maintenance works
  • To assist in environmental sustainability projects such as energy‑saving initiatives on cooling systems
  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and work practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical system performance
What we’re looking for
  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and manuals
