Job Title

Network Security Engineer

Primary Functions

• Delivers expert hands‑on technical assistance and troubleshooting for resolving critical customer hardware and software issues.
• Resolves complex customer cases successfully and clearly documents the customer problems for further escalation.
• Proactively shares knowledge with external partners, vendors and customers by clearly documenting FAQs on engineering solutions.
• Documents all action taken toward resolving customer issues in helpdesk systems.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science, Information Security/Technology or equivalent.
• Quick and keen to learn new technologies.
• Action and customer oriented.
• Takes initiative and adheres to deadlines.
• Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Principal to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.
• Good written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner.

Additional Requirements (Added Advantage)

• Networking products: routers, switches, L4/L7 load balancers.
• Operating and virtual systems: Windows Server, Linux and others.
• Security products: firewall, IDS/IPS, anti‑spam, anti‑malware, proxy server, hard‑disk and media encryption.

Other Information

• Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm, Mon‑Fri. After office work may be required due to the nature of the IT/IT‑networking job scope.
