Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malacca is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide remote troubleshooting and support various projects. Candidates should have a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering and preferably experience in semiconductor machinery servicing. The role requires effective customer service skills and a willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting remotely.
• Arrange support services for new projects and maintenance.
• Review and verify technical reports.
• Assist in training for service arrangements.

Based in Melaka Key Responsibilities:

• 1st Level Technical Remote Troubleshooting
• Support Service arrangement for new Project
• Support Service arrangement for new Maintenance
• Technical related hotline support
• Support Service arrangement to carry out training
• Provide guidance and views in support of opportunities for new work streams
• Review and verification of technical reports
• Other tasks assigned by superior
  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic in Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferable experienced in semiconductor machinery servicing environment (die sorter, pick & place process, vision inspection, robot handling)
• Fulfill customer service support requirements with accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere to instructions and guidance provided by team leaders and supervisors.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required
