Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to strengthen our After Sales & Technical Support team. This role is primarily focused on after-sales service delivery, ensuring that all commitments under the Service Level Agreements (SLA) are fulfilled and that clients receive the highest standard of technical support.

In addition to providing responsive after-sales support, this position will also be responsible for system configuration, commissioning, maintenance, and training. At times, the engineer may act as a resident engineer or engineer-in-charge for selected high-profile clients, serving as the dedicated technical point of contact.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, program, and commission AV and Video Collaboration systems for pre-deployment, demo sessions, and project rollouts.
  • Provide end-user and customer training on system operation and configurations.
  • Act as a dedicated resident engineer or engineer-in-charge for high-profile clients when assigned, ensuring on-site technical readiness and direct support.
  • Liaise with suppliers and brand principals for technical support and after-sales coordination.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues effectively with minimal downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections according to SLA obligations, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and demonstrate strong documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Obtain and maintain manufacturer/industry certifications as required.
  • Supervise after-sales projects, monitor progress, and prepare technical reports.
  • Support project teams with deployments, freestanding displays, and TV installations.
  • Be flexible to travel or relocate temporarily for outstation or client-site assignments when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience in Audio Visual (AV) and Video Collaboration systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering drawings is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, SLA management, and best practices.
  • Strong client-facing communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
