A technical support company in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to assist customers with technical inquiries via phone or email. The role involves diagnosing hardware issues and providing solutions, along with maintaining records of customer interactions. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in relevant fields, at least 2 years of experience, and strong communication skills. Possession of a motorcycle/car is necessary as travel may be required.
Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or email
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Able to identify PC, Printer and hardware problems and advising on the solution
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
Hardware maintenance especially PC and Printer
Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Keep record of problems and customers solution
Follow-up with customers
Reporting base on projects
