Job summary

A leading colorant manufacturer in Kulai, Johor is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support for injection moulding machines. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in plastic injection molding or colorants manufacturing, with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Training will be provided, and willingness to travel for on-site customer support is essential.

Technical Service Engineer (Color Pigment)

Samwoo Colorants (M) Sdn Bhd – Kulai, Johor

1. Sets up, operates, and maintains injection moulding machines to produce Colour chips and performing technical control

2. Customer/Supplier onsite visit for technical support on products and Colour deviation as well as solve abnormal problems

3. Provide technical support for injection moulding machine setup, maintenance, production parameter and troubleshooting customer onsite.

4. Responsible to follow up on customer’s trial sample production and onsite production status.

5. Develop & enhance the support plan in order to establish good customer relationships and satisfaction.

6. Knowledge transfer to customers or sales channel partners on system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.

7. Work closely with quality team on quality and design related improvement based on customer feedback.

8. Adhere to production operating parameters and good manufacturing practices for meeting production and quality target.

9. Accuracy in measurement and interest in Colour matching.

10. To perform task / job as per assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical or industrial academic qualifications. Secondary School graduated are welcome to apply is having relevant experience.
• At least 2 years and above working experience in Plastic Injection Molding/Extrusion/Plastic Resin/ Colorants manufacturing.
• Willing to go on-site for customer and supplier visits for technical support.
• Willing to work outstation in Batam. Training Provided.
• Self-initiated and with good 5S habits and discipline.
