Responsible for preparing and delivering technically accurate and commercially compelling proposals to prospective projects. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of the company's products or services and the ability to craft proposals that meet customer specifications while ensuring profitability for the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Proposal Development:
  • Prepare detailed and accurate technical proposals in response to client Requests for Proposals (RFPs), tenders, and inquiries.
  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements provided by the client, ensuring that all requirements are understood and addressed.
  • Convert customer requirements into Bill of Quantity for Commercial Team to process into technical compliance quotation.
  • Collaborate with technical, product customization, and Key Account (KA) teams to gather necessary information for the proposal.
• Technical Presentations and Clarifications:
  • Present and explain technical proposals to clients during project discussions.
  • Address any technical queries or clarifications from clients regarding the proposal, either during pre-bid meetings or after the submission of the proposal.
  • Work with clients to adjust proposals based on feedback or changing requirements.
• Documentation and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all proposals meet industry standards and other relevant guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes that could impact proposal preparation.
  • Prepare and compile documentation for technical submissions that aligned with specification in commercial quotation.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience: Fresh Graduate to 3+ years of experience in technical in a related role within an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.
• Engineering Software and MS Office Proficiencies
• Technical Expertise: Strong engineering background with a deep understanding in reading and interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the proposals are of the highest quality.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to develop creative solutions that meet both client and company needs, balancing technical feasibility with commercial viability.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments, including sales, engineering, procurement, and finance.
• Driving License, able to travel abroad alone.
• Office-Based with Some Travel: The role is primarily office-based, but it may involve occasional travel to client sites or technical presentations.
• Collaborative Environment: works closely with KA, product customization, technical, and project teams in a highly collaborative environment.
• High Pressure: Due to the need to meet proposal submission deadlines, the role may involve working under tight time constraints, especially when dealing with complex bids.
