Overview

The Technical Sales Engineer acts as the bridge between technical expertise and customer needs. This roleinvolves understanding complex technical products, providing solutions to clients, and driving sales growththrough consultative selling. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering knowledge with excellent communication and business development skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products and services.
Technical Expertise
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions for clients.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting.
  • Attend surgeries and clinical cases to support surgeons and clients with product usage and technical guidance.
  • Manage and support distributors to achieve sales targets and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to distributor teams.
  • Monitor distributor performance and implement improvement plans.
Project Management
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical or related field)
  • Experience: 0-5 years in technical sales or engineering roles; experience in medical devices or surgical support is a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
