Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer based in Penang. The ideal candidate will develop and grow sales in the Electronics and Semiconductor sectors, manage key accounts, and provide technical support and product demonstrations. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a relevant field and experience in technical sales or engineering. Strong existing contacts in the industry are preferred. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and requires frequent customer visits.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years experience in technical sales or engineering.
  • Existing contacts in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor fabs, or EMS companies strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems or industrial PCs is an advantage.

Our client : End to end Embedded hardware and Softwaresolution provider is expanding in Northern Malaysia and looking for a Technical Sales Engineer based in Penang to promote their products and solutions likeembedded systems, industrial computing, and test & measurement solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow sales in the Electronics & Semiconductor sectors (Penang, Kulim, Northern region).
  • Manage key accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Provide technical recommendations, product demos, and pre-sales support.
  • Identify new opportunities and drive revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for product updates and solutions.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2 to5 years experience in technical sales or engineering.
