Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the company and customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Establish strategic relationships with customers, leveraging their business goals and profit drivers to propose appropriate sales solutions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement activities.
  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and align them with our marketing programs.
  • Engage customers in joint planning sessions to develop comprehensive strategies that drive our market position and financial goals.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to track progress towards revenue and growth objectives.
  • Monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, analyzing performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customer needs to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion.
  • Prioritize customers and opportunities based on their potential for success.
  • Manage profitability by optimizing gross profit and minimizing profit leaks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support functions to deliver effective sales strategies.
  • Work independently or partner with other sales professionals, engaging with clients as needed.
  • Handle small to moderately-sized accounts/opportunities with limited complexity.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in Technical Sales Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business dynamics, sales processes, and the industry environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to follow existing procedures and established sales processes to drive results.
  • Collaborative approach, working effectively within a team or independently.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and effective time management skills.
  • Able to work within an assigned territory or account base, following established sales processes to sell standard products/services.
