Technical Sales Account Manager – Oil & Gas Chemicals

Global Solutions Asia Sdn Bhd – Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

This is an exciting opportunity to join Global Solutions Asia Sdn Bhd as a Technical Sales / Account Manager – Oil & Gas Chemicals. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business development and managing customer relationships within the oil and gas industry. This full‑time role is based in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

What you’re doing
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities and manage existing clients in the oil and gas chemicals market
  • Promote and sell GSA’s product range, including Diesel Additives, Corrosion removers, Scale dissolvers, various downhole products, and Rig Wash solutions.
  • Develop and manage the company’s CRM system, leveraging existing client data to build structured sales pipelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and consulting to customers to understand their specific needs and challenges
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with the marketing, operations, and R&D teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity and customer requirements to propose innovative solutions.
  • Work with management to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across Southeast Asia.
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in chemical, oil & gas, or industrial sales.
  • Strong technical understanding of oilfield and refinery cleaning/treatment processes.
  • Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and regionally as required.
