JOB DESCRIPTION
YOUR ROLE AS A

As a Technical Representative, you’ll be the go-to Allstar at the MRO—keeping aircraft checks on track, ensuring on‑time turnaround and being the technical brain the team relies on to keep everything running smoothly.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION
  • Monitor daily aircraft checks and ensure they meet AirAsia’s quality, cost, and turnaround expectations.
  • Coordinate closely with CAMO Material to ensure parts and spares arrive on time.
  • Keep a pulse on daily progress and maintain presence at the aircraft.
  • Support non‑routine defect assessments and highlight risks early.
  • Raise Work Orders and coordinate major rectifications with internal teams and the MRO.
  • Request extra manpower or extended hours when needed to keep the check on schedule.
  • Review and verify over‑and‑above charges before approval.
  • Control part requisitions and track everything from request to delivery.
  • Work with the MRO to recover delays and ensure the aircraft is released safely and on time.
  • Ensure all logs, documents, and reports are accurate and complete.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Friendly, grounded, detail‑oriented, and able to stay cool under pressure.
  • Strong in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with solid computer skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with professionalism and tact.
  • Confident in both technical knowledge and hands‑on practices.
  • Enjoy coaching and knowledge sharing with teammates.
  • Independent, dedicated, and comfortable working with diverse environment.
  • Willing to travel when required
  • Bring at least 5 years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness and strong knowledge of Part M, Part 145 & CAAM CAD.
  • Hold an Aircraft Maintenance License with relevant training.
