Job summary

A technology company in Malaysia is seeking a qualified individual to manage the Technical Support and Application teams. The candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in machinery repair and servicing. Responsibilities include developing team skills and participating in sales activities by providing product demonstrations. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSD) will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is preferable.

  • Participate in sales activities by providing product demonstrations and support.

  • Have Leadership experience & management skills
  • Creative, independent & always motivated by driving continuous improvements.
  • Good Communication (oral and written) in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Knowledge of VSD will be an advantage
Responsibility
  • Management of the Technical Support & Application teams
  • Development of technical skills of the team members
  • To share lessons learned and technical knowledge transfer to the team members, leveraging the knowledge management of the team
  • Participate in sales activities by providing product demonstration and advanced technical support to sales teams
  • Developed strategic planning, set yearly sales budget and action plan for Technical team
