Technical Executive (Electric Forklift & Warehouse Equipment)

Prestar Marketing Sdn Bhd is a leading provider of warehouse equipment, material handling solutions, and industrial storage systems. With our racking manufacturing facility, project-based sales, rental solutions, and tender business, we help businesses optimize their warehouses for maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support (Outdoor Team): Assist field technicians in diagnosing and resolving system errors or fault codes. Offer troubleshooting guidance based on technical manuals and system diagnostics.

Principal Liaison: Act as the communication bridge between the company and the equipment principal or OEM. Discuss complex technical issues, clarify specifications, and support warranty claims.

Preventive Maintenance Program: Develop and document preventive maintenance scope and schedules for new truck models. Ensure PM tasks are aligned with OEM standards and local operational needs.

Training & Onboarding: Conduct technical training for new hires and junior technicians. Prepare simplified manuals, training materials, and job aids.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain updated service manuals, fault code libraries, and technical SOPs. Provide technical feedback for recurring issues and propose improvement plans.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

At least 2–3 years of experience in forklift or MHE service/technical support.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication skills to liaise with OEM principals and internal teams.

Proficiency in Chinese (spoken & written) – Required for dealing with Chinese manuals or suppliers.

Preferred Qualities:

Experience with CAN bus systems, lithium battery forklifts, or controller diagnostics.

Familiarity with service tools, diagnostic software, or remote telemetry systems.

Ability to create technical SOPs or training modules independently.

Proficient in using digital multimeters, insulation testers, and laptop-based diagnostic software.

Ability to work under pressure, troubleshoot independently, and follow safety procedures.
