Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Manager of the Technical Service Department.
- Perform preventive and remedial maintenance for electrical systems and equipment in data centre.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems in the data centre.
- Respond promptly to any electrical equipment breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Assist Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager & Technical Service Manager in conducting services such as:
- Power audit
- Generator Set Maintenance
- Electrical LV system maintenance
- Thermal scanning
- Grounding measurement
- Standby support for activities such as:
- Genset testing
- TNB power outages
- HT switchgear servicing
- Electrical load migration
- Offline & online load tests
- Install, test, and commission electrical systems such as:
- UPS systems
- Power distribution equipment
- Electrical infrastructure of CCTV, access control systems, and environmental monitoring systems
- Fire suppression and detection systems
- Continuously learn and master electrical engineering and relevant data centre infrastructure systems to support preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Prepare and update all related maintenance documentation and service reports.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead & Technical Service Manager.
