We are a specialized engineering solutions provider focusing on soil stabilization and support systems for deep foundation works. Our team works closely with contractors on-site to solve challenging ground conditions using advanced materials, technical expertise, and practical site support.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for soil stabilization works during deep foundation construction.
- Assist contractors’ site teams during project kick-off, execution, and troubleshooting stages.
- Monitor and assess soil conditions, slurry behavior, and stabilization performance on site.
- Recommend suitable soil stabilization polymers, dosing methods, and application techniques.
- Support trial runs, testing, and optimization of stabilization solutions.
- Collect site data, observations, and samples for performance evaluation and reporting.
- Prepare technical reports, site records, and basic analysis for internal and client reference.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to site personnel, supervisors, and clients.
- Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to resolve site issues efficiently.
- Maintain a strong customer‑oriented mindset, ensuring timely response and professional support.
- Support foundation testing–related activities (BDSLT) where required, including preparation, setup coordination, execution monitoring, and basic interpretation of test results.
- Assist in reviewing and understanding test data, charts, and reports related to pile or foundation performance.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge in geotechnical engineering, foundation behaviour, and testing methodologies.
- Support additional technical assignments and emerging engineering services as required by the company.
Job Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering; exposure to foundation works is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of deep foundation construction (bored piles, diaphragm walls, micropiles, etc.).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of bi-directional static load testing (BDSLT / O-Cell testing) is an advantage.
- Understanding of test setup, instrumentation, loading sequence, and data recording methods.
- Ability to assist in site preparation, monitoring test execution, and identifying abnormal test behavior.
- Familiarity with interpreting load–displacement curves and explaining results at a basic technical level.
- Exposure to foundation testing or interest in load testing methods is an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, observational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with site teams and clients.
- Hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable working on construction sites.
- Fast learner with a positive attitude toward technical challenges.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possesses own transport and willing to travel to sites on short notice.
