Job summary

A leading toy manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform machine troubleshooting, carry out preventive maintenance, and support production operations. Ideal applicants will have a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering and 1-2 years of experience in machine maintenance. Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Perform machine troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) to minimize downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and time-based/condition-based maintenance according to schedule.
• Conduct machine repair, part replacement, and overhaul activities.
• Support production operations by ensuring machinery is in good running condition.
• Perform mechanical alignment, model changeover, and machine setup including electrical, pneumatic, robot programming, and vision system setup.
• Respond to machine breakdowns promptly and support any breakdown tasks assigned by superior.
• Prepare and update maintenance reports, check sheets, and documentation.
• Assist Superior in resolving production-related machine issues.
• Support improvement projects and ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and company standards.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 1–2 years experience in machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming and electrical wiring.
• Able to read technical drawings; AutoCAD/drawing and Injection Molding machine knowledge is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
