Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor, maintain and qualify equipment, tools/fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/tools/fixtures.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process, and improve yield.
• Seek a detail‑oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes to manage and execute high‑precision assembly tasks in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage for this position, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
• Observational skills to notice discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshoot at an appropriate level and involve senior members of staff.
• Communication skills to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork.
• Emotional intelligence.
• Derive continual improvement and use of resources.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical.
• At least 1 to 5 years of working experience in MNC industries, preferably 8 years’ experience working in high mix and high‑volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work on 12‑hour shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
• Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
• Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
• Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka‑yoke principles will be an added advantage.
