Job summary

A leading retail chain in Malaysia is looking for a qualified individual to manage retail operations. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree, along with 2-3 years of experience in retail management. Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications, is necessary. The position requires flexibility for shifts, including holidays.

Listen and communicate positively with customers to build a strong and loyal relationship

Ensure that all product, facilities and services that were advertised and promoted are correct and updated. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately

Participate in store re‑opening process by welcoming customers and filling up the shortages

2. Organization Efficiency

Keep the Company's assets in good operating condition

Observe and comply with Company's policies

Ensure that Assets are in good condition and to train team member to do the same as well

Participating in ensuring that all safety and security equipment are in good working condition

Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the merchandise flow, implantation and presentation

Emphasize on teamwork and teambuilding to create a happy and harmonious working environment

Provide assistance and have good communication with your team

Be independent and disciplined

3. Employee training and Development

To participate in any training activities being assigned to

Provide and organize training to improve professional skills of your team

Lead and motivate your team to achieve results and to develop their career/knowledge/skills

Adhere to store budgeted expenditure

Propose action plan to control operating expense better

Provide correct report and figures and be responsible on it

To update known loss

Returning of goods are done according to the procedures

Job Requirements:

Possessed at least Diploma/Degree Holder in any field.

2-3 years of working experiences in retail operations management/related field.

Computer literacy skill needed: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Team

Able to work on shift including Off Day, Rest Day or Public Holiday.
