To control and optimize utilization of man‑hour and spare parts.
Lead and implement maintenance schedules, strategies, and procedures to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime. This involves coordinating preventive maintenance tasks and responding to emergency repairs as needed.
Verify the monthly report of maintenance activities.
Conduct regular assessments of electrical systems to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences with the maintenance team. Work closely with the engineering team to optimize the performance of electrical systems.
Provide technical expertise and support to maintenance teams during troubleshooting and repairs. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in maintenance operations.
Define and monitor key performance indicators for maintenance activities, such as equipment uptime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR).
Use KPI data to continuously improve maintenance strategies and outcomes. Implement energy management strategies to optimize the use of electrical resources and reduce energy consumption.
Interface with regulatory bodies to stay informed about changes in electrical codes and standards.
Lead the root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures, aiming to identify and eliminate underlying issues.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings in maintenance operations. This may involve implementing new technologies, adopting best practices, and facilitating training programs for staff.
Responding to emergencies and breakdowns promptly, coordinating emergency repairs, and implementing contingency plans to minimize disruption to operations.
Analyze performance metrics related to maintenance, such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and use data‑driven insights for continuous improvement.
Managing the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and optimizing resources to achieve cost‑effective maintenance operations. Collaborate with the finance department to develop maintenance budgets and optimize resource allocation to ensure cost‑effective maintenance operations.
Assist in the installation of new machinery and necessary modification and commissioning.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of spare parts and materials.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Lead electrical and mechanical engineering projects, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
Lead the CAPEX project – define and verify job scope, develop business case, execute the project, and ensure the project follows the timeline.
Maintain an accurate inventory of electrical assets, including equipment specifications and maintenance history.
Verify equipment documentation, including manuals and schematics.
Manage engineers and technicians’ task and responsibility.
Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure parts, services, and support for maintenance activities. This may involve negotiating contracts, monitoring service quality, and evaluating vendor performance. Develop subordinate’s skill in maintenance activities.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to optimize workflows. Attend relevant training and professional development programs.
Ensure zero accident in work area. Envolve with all plant activities.
Being aware of HSE Policies and HSE objectives and targets. Complying with HSE requirement. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry codes related to maintenance activities. This includes maintaining documentation, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Participate in HSE Campaign and site activities. Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments for maintenance activities, identifying potential safety hazards.
Comply with 10 life‑saving rules.
Bachelor's level degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, or other relevant field).
Multiple years of industry experience (minimum > 10 years).
Strong knowledge in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Technical knowledge in monitoring and analyzing machine performance trends.
Ability to investigate breakdown issues.
Knowledge in term of cost analysis related to maintenance, take part in cost reduction, efficiency, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Enforce strict compliance with safety requirements.
