Job summary

A leading educational institution in Selangor seeks an academic professional to support innovative teaching and learning for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The candidate will contribute to research activities, develop collaborations with other universities and industries, and help manage educational and administrative tasks within the School. This role also involves participating in translational research and supporting accreditation matters. Candidates with prior involvement in similar activities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of innovative teaching and assessment experiences for students.
• Contribute to research activities and develop a publication record.
• Provide support for collaborations with universities and industry.
• Support the management of education and research within the School.
• Participate in translational research and establish partnerships.
• Support OBE and accreditation matters as required.

Job description

• Support the delivery of innovative and excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students
• Contribute to research activities within the School, starting to develop a publication record and/or making satisfactory progress in their PhD training
• Provide support for collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or civil society to drive research impact and educational excellence
• Support the management of education, research and/or administration in the School and discipline
• Subject to workload allocation, participate or be mentored in translational research with a view to external collaboration and establishing partnerships with outputs such as commercialisation, improved practice and policy.
