Job description

Must be able to teach the IGCSE/Malaysian National syllabus for at least one of the following subjects:

Primary Level: Music, Mandarin, PE

Secondary Level: IGCSE Accounting & Business Studies, IGCSE Science & Math, PE

Responsibilities
  • To develop lesson plans, instructional materials and activities based on the curriculum & co‑curriculum to suit the needs of students.
  • To design and set assessment papers for designated subjects.
  • To organize school events and work closely with the organizing committee to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • To assist Pastoral Care Committee & give counselling.
  • To help inculcate civic sense in students.
  • To instill discipline and maintain a high standard of good student behaviour in order to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom and school.
  • To create an effective environment for learning through functional attractive displays, bulletin boards and interest centres.
  • To evaluate students' academic progress by regular assessments and proper recording of their results.
  • To prepare and keep progressive reports reflecting non‑academic social growth of the students.
  • To communicate with parents through conferences (PTC) and other means to discuss students' progress and collect feedback on school programmes.
  • To maintain professional competence through lesson observations and in‑service training provided by professional growth activities.
  • To participate cooperatively with respective administrator in performance evaluation.
  • To contribute actively and constructively during group discussion and committee meetings with welfare and benefits of students at heart.
  • To be deployed according to the needs of the school from time to time.
